Save X video to camera roll

Resolving a video and actually seeing it in Photos/Gallery are two different steps, especially on iPhone. This guide focuses on the final “get it into camera roll” moment.

iPhone Photos

  1. Resolve the public post on XDownload.
  2. Download/open the MP4 in Safari.
  3. Tap Share.
  4. Choose Save Video.

If Save Video is missing, save to Files first, open the file from Files, then share into Photos. Also check Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos permissions for Safari.

Android Gallery / Google Photos

  1. Download the MP4 in Chrome.
  2. Open the completed file from notifications or Files.
  3. Use Share/Move/Copy into Photos if it does not auto-index.

Why the file is in Downloads but not Photos
