How to copy an X video link correctly

Most “downloader not working” reports start with the wrong URL. A downloader needs the post’s status link, not a profile page or a random share wrapper. Here is how to copy the right thing on mobile and desktop.

In the X mobile app

  1. Open the post that contains the video.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. Tap Copy link.
  4. Paste it into XDownload.

On x.com in a browser

  1. Open the post.
